Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone! We hope you had a wonderful day celebrating the birth of the Savior. It truly is the sweetest day in history!
We had a rather leisurely day. Our plan was to spend the afternoon with John and Jane, but poor Makenzie was sick all day. So, we spent the day at home, enjoying time together as a family. Poor Kenzie woke up a few times to ask if she was still pale, then went back to sleep. :) She is such a sweetie, even when she's not feeling well.
David had a fantastic idea this year to buy two gift cards from Walmart to give to someone in need. So, he bought them a few weeks ago and we prayed for God to show us who to give them to. God showed each of us someone to bless with the gift cards. It was so fun! We may never know how God uses it to touch their lives, but it sure was a blessing to us to be able to give a gift in His name.
We're back to work today and David begins his yearly week of extensive overtime at work. He is such a hard worker and we're so proud of him!
That's all for today! We hope you have a wonderful day!
